Raising Athletes: So, what kind of sideline parent are you?

    I think of myself as a much calmer watching games these days. It could be the fact that my son is out for the rest of the football season with a knee injury. That deflates a little of that "big game on Friday night" excitement. I still enjoy watching the team play - except for that rogue student drummer in the stands. Not the band - they're awesome. I'm talking about the student that just continuously bangs on his drum during the whole game. I think someone should at least give him lessons to spare my ears!
