Head injuries are more serious than most people understand. multiple concussions can give permanent brain damage and lead to serious mood changes. Christopher Nowinski a former football player and wrestler is taking this cause public and leading some important research into head & brain injuries:

The Memorial JV soccer coach had all players take an on-line test at the beginning of the season. The test can be retaken after a head injury to determine if there is a concussion, or lingering symptoms.

Caution: Look for symptoms above other than:

Vacant stare or befuddled facial expression and Difficulty focusing attention.

These 2 seem very common in teenagers!!!
