That is actually a great picture, it captures so much, the ref signaling incomplete, the player in agony, the fans jeering up close, the other team jumping for joy. Shoulda won an award for that.

It's really funny.....while I was driving my semi down the road last night I was thinking of the upcoming football season and reflecting on the past and my personal memories...And I was actually thinking of this game and the this picture and contraversy....the thing is that there was only 1 person from verndale is in the picture and the rest of the people were from arch rival Nevis....I was on the verndale team and that game sticks with me to this day...It was a shame somebody had to lose....It still gives me goosebumps when I watch the highlight tape....It's a shame that this picture makes people think the verndale fans are rude.....I am however proud to say I was a Pirate ....

This is a great photo. It did however remind me of the Team USA teams celebrations at Brookline in '99 which wasn't the most sporting gesture of all time by any means.
